A working document / not a portfolio

Things I’m
figuring out.

A field journal from the overlap between software, games, design, and the particular kind of curiosity that makes a small idea become a whole project.

Recent evidence.

A few artifacts from the workbench. Some are polished. Some are still warm.

What if Electron left?

Gelectron is an attempt to keep the nice parts of web apps and lose the several-hundred-megabyte apology.

A list that became a place.

FEDL began as rankings. The interesting part turned out to be the people who keep showing up to make the list harder.

02 / the route so far

A map of
becoming.

The path is less linear than this makes it look. That’s part of the fun.

Curiosity enters the chat.

Games, computers, and the early suspicion that anything on a screen could probably be taken apart.

The web becomes a workshop.

Learning by building: sites, games, experiments, and far too many tabs open at once.

Tools start taking over.

Emulators, local AI, macOS utilities, and the eternal question of why the computer makes simple things feel complicated.

Make it feel good.

Less shipping for the sake of shipping. More attention to the tiny decisions that make a tool feel like it belongs in someone’s life.

The kit.

The software is only half the story. These are the tools, ideas, and recurring obsessions currently within arm’s reach.
